We are coming up on Thanksgiving and I just couldn't help but want to reminisce (and yes...I had to go to dictionary.com to make sure I spelled it right..and I hadn't..oh well..I had to rewrite it) about my life and certainly things that I am truly thankful for.
I am making a list. A list of things I am thankful for and I want you to join in-Post a comment of one thing you are thankful for and then blog about all the rest (because you know their is more than one) and then link back to me so others can join.
But before you do, I want you to really and truly dig deep. Let's not make it superficial (shallow; not profound or thorough...yes I got it from dictionary.com), really think about things that God has done in your life and let people know.
It's kinda like testimony time at church, only blogging style-"What has God done for you?" Oh...how the list is long! So here goes to
"My Thankful list..what about yours?" blogging invite!
My list will probably change/add on daily...just because that's the way God is......He's so good...
1. He saved me. Wow..where would I be if He hadn't..I shudder to think!
2. He blessed me with 5 beautiful children
3. He healed my body
4. He reminds me that others come before me and no matter what someone has done-God still loves them and forgives them and me too.
5. He tells me all the time "My grace is sufficient for you" and boy! Does that go a long way
6. That I have kids that are thankful for what they have
7. For an AWESOME husband who loves me unconditionally
8. I am thankful that God brought my friend, Nichole home safe from her missions trip to Guatemala!
9. That I have family in Texas that I love so much!! (I love u lil sis)

Only 5? Or top 5? Or, let's start with 5....
What has God done for me?
He died for my sins & gives me the opportunity to go to Heaven.
He blessed me with my wonderful family & child.
He's given me situations that sometimes even I don't understand why or how they've happened to me, but from those situations I have been able to better appreciate the pain of others & their situations.
He's healed my husband's body & allowed us a way & hope to have more children.
He's blessed me with an able body & mind so that I may contribute to the well-being of my family.
:)
Great list! I will have to think about mine!!
I am thankful that I am saved. I was thinking about it the other day and I don't know where I would be if I hadn't gave my life to Jesus. I am thankful for my family. Thankful I have friends and family. Thankful God forgives me when I completely blow it. Thankful I have a roof over my head. Thankful that all God's promises are yes and amen. Thankful that I am healthy. The list can go on and on. Thankful that I was born in this country at my appointed time (don't know how they made it back then, LOL) Happy Thanksgiving!
