Feeling the pressure...

With the kids all at home (It's spring break here), I am feeling the pressure not only to clear out all the junk in the house, but all the craziness. I just need peace. We're clearing out all the shelves and all! I spent yesterday just in one room purging stuff-I had 3 huge bags just for the goodwill! Atleast one room down-5 to go!
On a parenting note:
I have found that when a boy turns 10, they lose the ability to stop backtalking...or obeying for that matter. It seems as if the two of us are at our wits end. He has to make a remark at whatever I say...and that is extremely frustrating! I am trying new techniques....ya know...like, soap.....and the silent treatment. None have seemed to work-YET.
I am at my wits end. Maybe I just can't do this parenting thing. I know, I know...dramatic right. But you can't tell me at some point in this thing called parenting....you just didn't want to walk away. If you can, well a giant award should come your way!!
As for the rest of life, this too shall pass. I am learning to take leaps of faith and wait on Him to tell me when to jump again. I know certain things are just an attack of the enemy. Right when God has shown us certain things to do and we step out....there the devil is to try and hinder what God is trying to do.
Like with our ten year old, all the back talking and junk. Then, our youngest has had multiple ear infections and now has to have tubes put into her ears. Well, that just frustrated me even more.
She is only 1 and now has to go under anestesia to get tubes. Yes, it is only a 10-15 precedure-but the last time one of our children did that, well, it was just really scary! It's just all an attack and I'm tired of it!
I have learned that I have to "put on my big girl panties and pray against it!". It's time to get serious and not be concerned with what others think-God has our back and He knows our hearts. We are gonna do what He tells us to do!
Don't forget to keep praying for Stellan! God has big plans for him too!

You can do it...and it might take some creativity.

I saw either start taking things away when he does it; or reward him when he doesn't do it?

I know I'm in for it..I was really bad at back talking!

holy experience
