What I have learned in 30 years....

I have learned that love hurts, love heals, love is hard and Love makes me live. I have learned that excepting Jesus was the best thing I ever did. I have learned to say no. I have learned that it's okay for the boys to dig in dirt and get immensely dirty.
I have learned that I LOVE putting bows in my girls hair even when they hardly have hair. I have learned that joy comes in the morning. I have learned that friends are important and you will always need them.
I have learned that getting sprayed by the kitchen sink hose is quite hilarious even if your the one getting sprayed (ya know..when your son puts a rubber band on it)! I have learned that my children are one of the greatest joys.
I have learned that parents don't always do it right, but with God, I can forgive them and move on. I have learned that Grandmothers will always love you unconditionally even when parents don't.
I have learned that my home should be a sweet place~not for fighting or for giving up.
I have learned that giving birth is painful...but worth EVERY moment....every time! I have learned that I can't do natural childbirth-give me an epidural, please!
I have learned that giving to others is more meaningful than keeping it to yourself! I have learned that I don't have to have worldly possessions to be completely happy.
I have learned that my husband is my best friend, my confidante, my lover, my reasoner...my companion for life.
I have learned that beginning again (at any age) can always happen with Jesus.....
I have learned that Jesus is the only reason I have everything I do. Without Him I am nothing. I pray today on my birthday, that YOU will come to know Him like I know Him. He's a good God. A faithful God. A loving God and He sees everything you need before you even ask. Let Him into your heart and life today. I pray you will.
Please email me if you have any questions about accepting Christ!
Here are my beautiful Children....Thank you Jesus!

Happy Birthday Robin! I really, really enjoyed this post! Can't believe you (I soon) are 30! I just have this feeling that our thirties are going to be far better than our twenties (not that I would change one thing from the past). May God continue to bless you! I love you!

Happy Birthday! I loved reading your list of what you've learned. I think we've had a lot of the same life lessons. :)
